As the first national black-owned and operated broadcast television network in the country, Urban Trendsetters is poised to revolutionize media and outreach in major cities across the nation with the launch of our national broadcast television network. This expansion presents an unparalleled opportunity for community investors to forge a powerful partnership in supporting this groundbreaking initiative.

In the current national conversation where racial issues are at the forefront, the influence of black owned media companies on black culture is more crucial than ever. Urban Trendsetters, as a Black-owned media outlet, serves as a trusted voice that communities depend on to provide unfiltered news and information, representing the best interests of our communities and sharing our stories with authenticity.

Amid the ongoing crisis, local broadcasting has proven to be an essential infrastructure, providing real-time updates on emerging dynamics. Urban Trendsetters Television, with its commitment to local programming, offers a unique platform that showcases Black culture in ways that other media outlets cannot. Through free TV and locally produced content, we highlight Black youth, businesses, and more, fostering a sense of identity and pride within the community.

Local news programs covering stories relevant to the Black community, including social justice, education, and business, are often overlooked on mainstream news. Urban Trendsetters is here to change that narrative by providing a platform that prioritizes positive news, information, and resources relevant to our community. Urban Trendsetters Television is not merely a network; it serves as a catalyst for change. Recognizing the crucial role of community involvement, we are unwaveringly committed to empowering our news and information partners.

Through strategic collaborations with local black newspapers and radio stations, our goal is to offer them opportunities to produce local broadcast news programs, thereby generating a new source of revenue and broadening their influence. In this endeavor, we aspire to work closely with local talent and content creators whom our communities know, are comfortable with, and trust implicitly. This approach ensures that the stories told on Urban Trendsetters Television resonate authentically with our audience, fostering a deep and meaningful connection.

As a teaching network, Urban Trendsetters recognizes the need for foundational due diligence to ensure the community understands the power at its disposal. With our availability on OTT platforms like ROKU and Firestick, we offer unprecedented opportunities for content creation and distribution, including subscriptions, pay-per-view, on-demand services, and channel creation. The blueprint for success is now accessible to all.

Black media ownership is a critical factor in giving Black communities control over the representation of their experiences and perspectives. According to a 2019 FCC report, Black Americans own only 3.3% of full-power commercial television stations, a significant disparity considering they make up approximately 13% of the total US population. The same report found that Black Americans own just 5.3% of full power commercial radio stations and 5.5% of daily newspapers.

At Urban Trendsetters, we go beyond ownership; we actively address the need for representation and diversity in advertising. How often do you see Black-owned businesses advertising on local broadcast stations or cable networks? We’ve made advertising on television affordable not only on our network but have also cultivated relationships with major networks to provide additional advertising opportunities and content distribution through the Urban Trendsetters Agency.

We are excited to embark on a journey across the country, demonstrating how to produce, monetize, and launch TV shows, movies, and other content while providing the distribution portal for aspiring creators. Urban Trendsetters is not just a network; it’s a movement, empowering communities through media representation, economic opportunities, and a shared commitment to positive change. Join us in reshaping the narrative and fostering a more inclusive and diverse media landscape.
